Caitilin Walsh

Caitilin Walsh benefited from stellar language teachers and a Fulbright internship teaching English to French junior high school students in Bourges, France. Caitilin leveraged this into a successful private practice as an ATA-certified French to English translator for the computer industry and food lovers. In addition to her longtime service to her local chapter, The Northwest Translators & Interpreters Society (NOTIS), she has served as President of the American Translators Association (ATA) and Vice-president of the American Foundation for Translation and Interpretation (AFTI). She brings her strong opinions on professionalism to teaching Ethics and Business Practices at the Translation & Interpretation Institute at Bellevue College in Bellevue, Washington, and chairs the Translation & Interpretation Advisory Committee for the Puget Sound Skills Center in Burien, Washington.
