Keely K. Lake, Ph.D.

Keely Lake received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 2001, and in 2002 she began teaching Latin and ancient Greek at Wayland Academy, a small college prep, boarding and day school in Beaver Dam, WI, where she also does dorm duty, coaches volleyball and track, and is the Coordinator for Interdisciplinary Programs. She began teaching for the College in the Schools Program through the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2009.
Keely is currently active in a number of organizations, including the Wisconsin Junior Classical League, the Classical Association of the Middle, West, and South, the Vergilian Society, the National Committee for Latin and Greek, and the ACL/SCS Joint Committee for Classics in American Education. She has been a Reader and Table Leader for the Latin AP since 2005 and is currently a WorkshopConsultant and the College Board Advisor for the Latin AP Development Committee. Keely spends most of her free time working on issues of pedagogy or advocacy.
