Chief Executive Officer of Certified Languages International
Kristin Quinlan serves as CEO of Certified Languages International, a U.S. based on-demand telephone interpreting company founded in 1996. Ms Quinlan joined the company in 1999, rising to CEO in 2006. She has been responsible for leading the company in a significant turnaround effort that has enabled CLI to realize substantial revenue, growth, and profitability year after year.
A recognized leader known for approaching business with a unique blend of industry-wide collaboration and insightful decision-making, Ms. Quinlan was a finalist for Oregon’s Entrepreneur of the Year award and been named three times to the Fortune 500/5000 list of America’s fastest growing companies.
Ms. Quinlan’s commitment to the language industry earned her a position on the Association of Language Companies’ (ALC) Leadership Council, overseeing the marketing committee from 2007 to 2009. She was then elected to a four-year term on the ALC’s Executive Board of Directors in 2010.
Prior to CLI, Ms. Quinlan worked in sales for Arrow Electronics, the world’s largest distributor of electronic components and computer products, and Pioneer Electronics, a Tokyo-based leader in consumer audio and video products.
